We are a community built on respect for writers, readers, and the craft of storytelling. These guidelines help us maintain a space where creativity can flourish.

Be Respectful

• Treat all community members with respect, regardless of skill level or experience.
• Constructive feedback is welcome; personal attacks are not.
• Respect the boundaries writers set for their feedback preferences.

Content Standards

• Rate your work accurately. Use the G/T/M/E rating system honestly.
• Tag and warn appropriately. Readers rely on warnings to make informed choices.
• No plagiarism. All works must be your own original writing or clearly attributed transformative work.
• Quality matters. Works must meet minimum standards (100+ words per chapter, 3+ paragraphs).

AI Policy

AI tools may be used as writing aids (brainstorming, editing suggestions, grammar checking). However:

• Fully AI-generated works are not permitted.
• The core creative work — plot, characters, prose — must be human-written.
• If you use AI assistance, be transparent about it.

Prohibited Content

• Spam, advertisements, or promotional content unrelated to creative writing.
• Harassment, hate speech, or targeted attacks against individuals or groups.
• Content that violates applicable laws.
• Doxxing or sharing private information without consent.

Reporting & Moderation

If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, use the Flag button on any work or comment. Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action.

Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans depending on severity.

Appeals

If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may contact us to appeal. We review all appeals fairly and in good faith.
